I had the pleasure of listening to Sandy Botkin many times and now I have  24/7 membership access to him and his very valuable data along with over 80 of the top speakers, authors and trainers who train the Fortune 500 companies.    

Every time I listen to Sandy I learn something new.  With this program,
I have the ability to download a workbook and follow along as Sandy is training us so I can go back and review at anytime.  What I found helpful was that in one of the chapters he covers tax strategies and he takes the time to add footnotes to those paragraphs with the internal revenue code regulations and runes, so if you like a particular strategy you and your accountant can view that immediately in the code allowing you and your accountant to be a lot more aggressive. 

In this segment Sandy shares with us tax strategies for business professionals.  He tells us that if we give him 15 minutes a day he will be able to impart information (legal, moral and ethical) to us that will save us the equivalent of a part time job were you can earn anywhere from $5.000-$30,000 additionally a year.

Sandy is not about replacing your tax accountant, but he is interested in bridging the gap between you and your tax accountant.  Note: If you are a home-based business owner get the facts and secure a tax professional who understands home-based businesses.  Most tax professionals are not familiar with this sector.  Sandy is giving us only general tax information no specific tax information is given, that is for your tax accountant to assist you with.

                              What Does It Mean To Be Successful?

Hal Urban, in his book “Life's Greatest Lessons” states that he was thirty-nine years old when he first understood what it mean to be successful. Upon discovering this brought him a sense of inner peace and a feeling of self-worth.  

Some of what Hal discovered:

Successful people accept life as it is with the good and the bad. They have the ability to adapt. They say Yes to Life.  What can you do to accept life as it comes to you and find the lessons with grace?

Successful people develop and maintain a positive attitude towards life.

Successful people have a strong sense of definition and purpose they know where they are going.  Do you have a definition or purpose?  If not take some time to dream!

I had the pleasure of tuning into a short 8 minute video where Leslie is sharing her experience on the topic: Trusting your Instinct for Success, no matter what we think that is causing our success what it really comes down to is identifying the little thing inside of you that tells you how to succeed and than trust it.

Think about the success books out there that offer the steps to succeed. Yet, that is only part of it you have to picture the end result of where you want to go or do or be in your mind. Success is about purpose and timing. No matter what we think that is causing our success what it really comes down to is identifying the little thing inside of you that tells you how to succeed and than trust it.

If you set a goal and you already know how to accomplish that goal then it is not a large enough goal. See your goal and tap into the goal using logic/objective, plus follow your gut instincts. Most of the time you don't realize that you are following your gut instincts.

While going for that goal you must refuel your goal, putting it to paper and re-reading that goal every day will assist you in staking your claim by putting it to paper. You must have a clear goal in mind before you carry out the steps to reaching that goal or you will end up someplace else. Dream more vividly to crystallize your goal.

Leslie Householder, is life success coach, wife and mother of seven children Her passion is sharing tools how to prosper the family using the law of attraction.

I had the pleasure of listing to a short video with Leslie Householder on how “Adversity awakens your genius”. Leslie states: If you have adversity in your life your are in a good place. She shares with us the story of the dog with only two legs that was protecting his food and got the inspiration to get up on his two back legs and walk to protect his food, and from that time on he continued to walk on two legs. Adversity gives us a reason to discover what we can do even if we are not aware of it.

Leslie shares with us the story of the Acorn seed. The idea that I took away is when we are aware of our greatness inside and we set lofty goals and then we take a fall and it seems there is no way out, don't struggle. Become still, relax, breath and let the answers be more readily absorbed into our consciousness.

In her story, when the acorn falls from the tree is buried in the dirt and rained upon it struggles to free itself. After it surrenders and is holding still with a sigh the elements around the acorn take notice of the calm demure and begin to respond and without any more struggle it discovers as it remains CALM that all is possible. As it remains calm it notices that it already has all it needs in its muddy environment. The acorn noticed that it didn't perish being away from the parent tree and that it actually sprouted new parts of itself that it wasn't aware of. Experience the joy of growth. Be patient and grow your roots.

Think about a fall you may have taken and as you relax you'll recognize you still have all you need: you have air to breathe, a roof over your head, you have relationships and people who care about you. Be patient little seed. Allow yourself time to grow roots and continue to reach for the sun.

You have all you need right now and be grateful for what you have and you will be guided as you go through the process. Release the strain and the answers will be absorbed much easily, breathe deeply and picture your positive outcome and put that outcome screen of your mind.

Being in Gratitude is the key, actually taking the time to write in a gratitude journal puts your life in perspective. This will eventually assist you in seeing the bigger picture and how you choose to get there. The more you take the time to write it will assist in bringing in more clarity and focus into your life.

Some easy tips for keeping a gratitude journal, smaller size the better purse/pocket size so you can keep it with you. This way you can jot down items as they happen. Best to write every day and that way you can look back at your pro

Success begets Success.  What you Focus on You Manifest in your Life!

 TI start out my day by reading or watching a personal growth / self improvement material. This keeps me connected with the world class thinkers.

Today I am re-reading again one of my favorites “The Master Key to Riches”~Napoleon Hill. Napoleon states that Successful men become successful only because they acquire the habit of thinking in terms of success.
<strong>Definiteness of Purpose</strong> can, and should so completely occupy the mind that one has no time or space in the mind for thoughts or failures.

*Do you have a Definiteness of Purpose? Take some time each day to review what that is for you.

*Are your saturating your mind with this Definiteness of Purpose/ or Passion?
 Try enhancing the pictures related to the Purpose/or Passion by activating your five senses .
*What ever you focus on, more of that comes your way.

Many new ideas that lead to success will begin with a Definiteness of Purpose. Many of the great inventions of the world would be nothing but abstract ideas if not for Definiteness of Purpose and then being filtered through the subconscious portion of the brain with access to the Infinite Intelligence of which the workable plans come to form.

Trust your hunches or gut they are in response to the ideas or plans that were planted in the subconscious of the mind hours, days or weeks before hand.

Some of the key attributes of a person with a Definiteness of Purpose is a person who is at ease with themselves, and how at ease they are in attracting the friendly co-operation of others in carrying out their purpose.

The Mars & Venus Diet & Exercise Solution Book by John Gray, PH.D is a well written book with some excellent ideas and solutions. Let your new way of eating become a lifestyle.

I had the delight of listening to and interacting with <b> John Gray PH.D </b> at a conference in Las vegas last week. I have been to several of John's events which are always a delightful learning experience.

John states on the cover of his book that this is the solution to “Creating the Brain Chemistry of Health, Happiness, and Lasting Romance”. He guides us through the steps of how food affects our mood and relationships and how excess stress can lead to overeating for some of us. John is a genius for taking the highly complex scientific material and presenting the information in a simply way, then going on to make practical applications that can change people's lives.

Combining the five realms of health is critical, as each area impacts the other areas and yet the answers for optimal health are very different for males and females. This is truly the key to making this information work they each need their own solutions to balancing their brain chemistry.

He states that there are only three basic guidelines we need to follow to be successful with this program. I like that there are only three guidelines even I can follow that.

John also goes into depth in the chapters on “Having a Healthy Relationship with Food”, and “Eating for Your Body Type”.

Chapter 13 ” Your Body is Designed to heal itself” if chocked full of great ideas and tools to support you in creating a healthy body.

I am going to take the challenge in Chapter 8 “Say Good Bye to Dieting” I am going to follow this program and report to you on the progress I am encountering along the way. Check in on my blog periodically for my updates. I would like to put out a challenge that you purchase the book and follow along with me. This endeavor will be much more successful if you have someone you are accountable to during the process. I am available to anyone who would like to partner up for this challenge. Terri states that Women have sometimes a better chance of getting hired when we use our intuition in the hiring process.   Check out these simple steps before your next interview.

1) Be Prepared
You can be better prepared by offering “skill benefit statements” These will consist of 2 parts:1) a description of what you can do, 2)a benefit you are able to deliver.
 
Describe your skill: I can instruct and coach on the use of your x-ray instruments. Note the word “can” emphasis actions, then at the end of the statement add the words “Able to” Example:I can instruct and coach on use of x-ray machines so I am able to begin training your people the day I start the job.

Specifics, Interviewers are trained to focus on the specifics not the generalities. Generalities indicate promoting you and not your past performances. Instead give solid examples of when you used a skill, describe what you did with real obstacles and how you handled those obstacles, along with the results you achieved

2) Create a Self Brand.
In general be clean, conservative, and collected, dress appropriately, lite perfume and stay away from slang or inappropriate language.

3 Emphasize Skills
We'll assume that you are well adjusted, like able and a team player so for the interview focus on your skills and what you can do for the company you are interviewing with.

4) Develop a Strategy for the Tough and Unexpected Questions.

Most of us fear the unexpected questions in an interview? Experienced interviewers will ask questions that will stretch your ability to answer and let you demonstrate what skills you really do have to offer. When prepared, you can answer any tough question with a good honest answer which will keep you in the running. It gives you a step above the rest of the candidates when you are prepared to answer the tough questions. You will do better to answer the tough questions honestly. You can talk about a strength that came from a rough situation in your life and let the interviewer know what you learn from your mistakes and admit you are not perfect.

5) Get an Champion
A champion can benefit both the candidate and the employer by matching the candidate to the employer's immediate need. This can be anyone who's reputation can swing the decision in your favor. That person can speak in your favor from personal experience. People like to hire people that are recommended by someone they trust and know.

I had the delight of listening to a short video by Patricia Fripp on the importance of Cleaning out your life's closets and these are some of the excellent tips I came away with.

What is the purpose of an image consultant but to make you match the image you are trying to present.

A consultant will not let you keep the clothes that don't project the image you want to present.
or keep anything that will not take you to where you said you wanted to go. She would not let
you keep anything that didn't make you feel wonderful when you wore those clothes.

You know how exciting it is to go though and clean out your closets, the garage and eliminate the debris, it seems to bring about a sense of peace and order. So why not take the next step and begin to clean out the closets of your life? Clean out the habits, the thoughts and the people that might be keeping you back from being the best of who you can be.

You want to be surrounded by people and the habits that are supporting you in reaching your goals.

Make good choices of who you spend time with and how you are spending your time.

You train the people on how they can treat you. Look at the people in your life and review how you are allowing people to treat you.

Time Management tool: Learn to say No without feeling guilty. Ask yourself Am I being
asked because I am the perfect person or because I never Say No.

Say Yes in a different way. Taking into account the best use of your skills and time and schedule.

People only have to turn their thinking a few degrees to have a totally new life. Would you be willing to turn those few degrees and create a whole new life?

Patricia says: Tell me what you want and show me one week of your life and I will tell you if you will get it.

Adding these simple steps into your life could make a huge difference.
