Leslie Householder “Trusting Your Instinct for Success”

There were a few great points that I learned in this video.

“Identify the little thing inside you that tells you what to do to
succeed.”

I think that most people do not trust what the little voice inside is
telling them.  I felt very lucky to be one of those people that would
jump out of bed every morning, excited to get to work.  I felt that
for almost 10 years of selling real estate.  When the market shifted
that drive disappeared.  Being the go getter that I am I knew that I
had to find another source of income that would inspire me every day.
I feel extremely fortunate to have discovered iLearningGlobal to
assist me in showing me how to keep myself inspired and move forward. Another bonus is that it is a terrific income source!  Trust your gut and go for it!

“Seeing the goal that you have in mind constantly will give you the
fuel you need to keep going.”  “When you run out of steam for you goal  it is probably because you have forgotten what success is going to  look like.” My goal is that I can work from home and be there for my 8 year old  daughter when she comes home from school.  I do not have to rely on daycare or babysitters to raise my daughter.  The satisfaction of  seeing her face every day after coming home from school is the fuel  for me to keep focused.

Don’t lose sight of your goal.

Keep going  and never give up!

Tom Ferry “Thrive in a Changing Market”;

“In every changing market someone makes a fortune.” “Who is it going
to be?” “It is a moment of decision to prove if you are the man or
woman that can.”

This is what I heard loud and clear from Tom Ferry in watching the
short video clip from him on iLearningGlobal. Being a successful real
estate agent the last 10 years myself, I realized immediately that
what he said is correct. I am not willing to keep doing the same
thing over and over again without seeing any results. I refuse to
lose everything I have worked so hard for. I am not going to sit
around until I am flat broke before I make a change. The market IS
changing. If you want to make it you have to change along with it.

I found that the easiest, most time and cost effective way to learn
about these changes is by learning from the experts that have proven
themselves successful time and time again on iLearningGlobal. Tom
Ferry and Brian Tracy are in the recording studio now putting together
a series of 8 minutes videos to teach us ways to thrive in this
changing market. I can’t wait to see them! I have made the decision
that I will be one of the people that WILL make a fortune in this
market. Are you one of them too?

Don Hutson “Money, Money, Money”;

“Do you have as much money as you would like to have?” “Money doesn’t
buy us happiness but it does provide us comfort at a time when we do
not want to be worrying about money.”

When I heard this from Don Hutson I had to pause the video for a
moment and really think about that. Being in real estate for 10 years
and being a single mom, I thought that I did well in saving during the
boom of the market. I thought that I had prepared myself and my
daughter for a down market. I did, but I did not think that it would
last this long. Don’s statement about money doesn’t buy happiness but
does provide a comfort really is so true for me. When the market was
booming I wasn’t concerned about having a cleaning service clean my
house every week, I did not worry about spending too much in gas, I
did not concern myself about the price of an airline ticket, or the
cost of a ticket to go a play. Every year it has been a tradition
that I take my daughter to the “Nutcracker” during the Christmas
Season. Yesterday, I had to tell her that we would need to skip it
this year. It is a luxury that I just cannot justify at this time.
Money does provide comfort. I am excited in knowing that next year
after building my iLearningGlobal business, that I will have that
comfort again and I will not have to tell my daughter that we need to
break a tradition because I cannot afford it.

He also said in this video that “There really is no such thing as
something for nothing.” “Devote time, energy and focus on things we
know that can work for us.”

I connect what he said to why I chose to be involved with
iLearningGlobal. For the last 7 years my daughter had to go to day
care. I never was able to spend the weekends with her either since
that was our busy time for sales. Now that I am working from home I
get to see her off to school and be here for her every single day! I
love it! There is a price for that though. As soon as she walks out
the door I am working my business. I am on the phone or sending
emails for going to appointments. I made a commitment to work
efficiently so that I can “turn it off” when she comes home from
school. My quality of life has improved by leaps and bounds.

I am devoting my time, energy and focus on things that I know will
work for me by working iLearningGlobal. This is the most positive
thing I have ever been a part of. I am learning how to be a better
mother, friend, daughter, entrepreneur, and so much more by watching
these videos. It is so easy to share this wonderful product with
others. I am becoming a better person from this. I am excited about
being able to take part in helping the world become better too.

The Freeway of Life by Storm Gleim inspired by Brian Tracy

Sometimes I feel like I am on the fast track of the freeway then I derail to the farm roads. After listening to Brian Tray’s Freeway of Life video I now know why I get knocked off the freeway to the farm roads. It’s all the distractions I constantly run into.

Some 25 years ago I was on the freeway heading to the PGA tour, when a gentleman introduced himself and forced his teaching philosophies upon myself and my golf game. He took me in a different direction now I was in unfamiliar territory, by that I mean he changed my mental approach as well as my physical approach including my golf swing.
He knocked me off the freeway to the farm roads, instead of progressing I digressed.
This went on for several years until I separated myself from him. Within a year of our separation I felt I was back on the freeway of Life achieving what I set out to do in the first place playing on the PGA tour.

The following year I ran into another road block this time in the form of a caddie. Once again I was knocked off the freeway to the farm roads, this time the ride was a little longer than the last one. I did experience some successes but the failures out weighed the successes making it tougher for me to achieve my goal of playing on the PGA tour.

What Brian Tracy has taught me is that there are so many distractions in life, some positive some negative. It’s our responsibility to separate the positive from the negative so that we don’t loose track of our goal.

I now feel that I am back on the Freeway of Life- I am excited at the possibility of qualifying for the champion’s tour. Playing on the PGA has been a life long dream of mine since I was a young boy.
I am hoping to have a very successful career on the champion’s tour which begins for me September 2009.

Remember when on the freeway to success separate yourself from all the negative and associate yourself with all the positive. The FREEWAY has no speed bumps and no limitations to your success. I am so grateful for what Brian Tracy has taught me in my latter years. I am looking forward to my future not only in golf but in life in general.

I am so grateful to be part of iLearningGlobal and the opportunity to improve my life- the content made available to us 24/7 which deals in personal development has been a blessing. I believe this could also bless your life and the lives of your loved ones. So don’t waste another minute join our team today! Sign up at successbuild.com and we will help create your success!

WHAT ARE YOU THINKING?!!
People from all over the globe, from every walk of life, and from every era have searched and wondered about the keys to success. Millions upon millions of people have asked the age old question: “How can I make my dreams come true?” Their seeking always finds an answer; however, it doesn’t always find “the answer”. You see, success comes to many people, but it never arrives in our lives all neat and nicely packed, and it certainly doesn’t come as easy as we all would like. My hunch is that we have many cynical people in this day and age, because they say they have tried or have sought their dreams…once or twice, and so in turn the whole success thing is beyond reach. The funny thing is…they think this way because they missed the proverbial boat once or twice. So since they have been there, done that, they “think” they have a monopoly on reality (J). Many times this manifests itself through their expressions of “you can’t do it”…or “you are going to lose your shirt” or better yet, “you are wasting your time” and of course this is always targeted at the resolute few who want to try, or who remain strong, determined, and who keep to the pursuit.

The fact is, just because you or I don’t first succeed, it does not mean that we can’t or won’t succeed, or that we are not meant for the end result we seek. What it does mean, is that we need to manifest our success, we need to prove to our success that we deserve it, and sometimes this means using different systems and approaches. A lot of times the first few failures that come along are the very obstacles that we let persuade us of our initial thinking, which is that we are not good enough, or capable, or that we don’t deserve our success. It’s is after such events that we let our “small person thinking” win over or convince us as well as others that we can’t or don’t deserve more from life. Here is the important part and it’s essentially the bottom line: The vast majority of people believe or “think” that their first answer from their attempts at success is “the answer”, when in fact all they have is “an answer”, and hardly the correct one at that. And why do they believe this? They believe this because of the stuff that they have in their heads…what they are thinking about and how they are thinking about it. They don’t really think that they can succeed and haven’t learned how to think about failure or how to fail forward.

Success icons, leaders, and mentors have advocated throughout time that our thoughts create our reality. For example Earl Nightingale said: “We become what we think about”, James Allen stated “as a man thinketh so is he”, Napoleon Hill held “Whatever the mind of man can conceive and believe, it can achieve. Thoughts are things! And powerful things at that, when mixed with definiteness of purpose, and burning desire, can be translated into riches.”, and even the great Roman Emperor Marcus Aurelius exclaimed “Your life is what your thoughts make of it”. Were they wrong? NO. Were they Successful? YES!

Don Hutson “Attitude Makes the Difference”;

Attitude is a choice.
Ninety-six percent of things we worry about never happen!

We have to be able to deal with change. Do you have the ability to
turn on a dime and to deal with the cards you are dealt? Or do you walk
around with your blinders on looking for only those things that are
predictable in your life?

You never lose until you give up. People will change when the pain
not to change exceeds the pain to change.

Keep your conversation positive with others. Don’t tell other people
your problems. Seventy-five percent of those people could care less
and the other twenty-five percent are glad you have them!

Make the following statement part of your self talk and in doing so
you will see positive changes happen with you and people will want to
spend more time with you. “I will be a change agent. I will respond
positively to change.”

Dr. Robert Schuller said, “What would you try in life if you knew
you could not fail?”

It is hard to get a positive outcome from a negative environment.

We choose the attitude, demeanor, the pleasant smile, the positive
energy we give to people. Give that to people with enthusiasm and you
will have a better and more successful life.

These are just some of the points I learned from watching the video
with Don Hutson. I have made the decision to move away from the depressing,
negative environment of selling new homes. I am now a much happier,
positive person by joining iLearningGlobal. I do feel confident approaching
people with all this positive information. The most rewarding feeling
of all is when I can share this opportunity with someone and they see
hope of being able to change their lives.

Jim Cathcarts Relationship Intelligence ™;

Jim Cathcarts Relationship Intelligence ™.
Premise: Your life is a series of Relationships
Our lives are lived through interactions with others.
Conclusion: If you change the mix, quality or quantity of your relationships
then you will, in fact, change your life experience.

So, being more Intelligent about which relationships you develop and
which you do not will have a profound effect on the quality of your
life.

Complete the following sentence: “It is not what you know that
counts, it is…”
Most people would answer: “It is Who you know.”
So, try this one: “It is not who you know that counts, it is…”

My recent audiences have replied, “It is who knows You!”

OK, so far we have been in familiar territory. No news yet.
Complete this sentence please: “It is not who knows you that counts,
it is…”
When I ask this in my speeches and seminars nobody responds. They just
look puzzled.
“You mean it isn’t who knows you? Then what does really
count?”
Here is my reply: “It is who is Glad that they know you that counts
the most.”
You see, until others are actually glad that they know you, you don’t
have much of a relationship with them. But when you cause others to
be proud of the fact that you are their friend, business contact, colleague,
neighbor, healthcare provider, sales rep, service technician, or advisor…then
you have built a true relationship asset.
By knowing some people you open new doors of potential, by knowing others
you close those doors. Ask Barack Obama how he feels about having a
long-term friendship with Rev. Jeremiah Wright.
What may once have been an asset, has in recent months become a profound
liability. It matters who we connect with and who we avoid.

Are your Relationships Assets…or liabilities.

Take a look at all of the relationships in your life today and then
reflect on which ones are assets and which are not. If you spend more
time with the assets and diminish your contacts with the liabilities,
then you will have consciously and intentionally enhanced your life.

Who is glad that they know you?

The more names you can list under that heading the more assets you
will have. What is a “relationship asset?” It is a direct
connection with someone else who also considers it important to sustain
that connection with you.
Take some time to reflect on that. Make a list of all the connections
you can think of in your life and then notice the ones where they feel
they are getting good value from the connection.

Here are four questions that are at the core of my Relationship Intelligence
message:

1. What do you want?
(Love, friendship, fun, money, support, opportunity, a contract, etc.)
All relationships are defined by what the participants want from the
relationship.

2. Who do you know?
When you know the right people you are in a position to produce the
outcomes you desire.

3. What do they want?
The better you understand their goals, desires and dreams the more you
can see ways to help them get it.

4. How can you help them get what they want?
Customer loyalty should be what we seek to give rather than what we
seek to get. As my friend and mentor Zig Ziglar is famous for saying,
“You can get anything you want in life if you will just help enough
other people get what they want.”
Take some time to reflect on this message. Print it out and carry it
with you. Look over it again each morning and think about what it means
to you. Do this for at least one month. Let me know how you have changed
things in your life.

that they know you?

Intelligence ™.”

Fifteen Tactics for Maximizing Your Investment in Reading for
Personal Growth

One topic that seems to come up time and time again personal growth. I
hear questions all the time ranging from how to choose books that are
worth reading, how to know when a book isn’t really providing
answers for you, how to read faster, and how to actually apply learned
information to one’s life.

In response to these questions, I’ve drawn up a list of tactics
for people to use to get started on a successful habit of reading for
personal growth. Using these tactics will help you get the most out
of the books that you read, apply what you’ve learned to your
own life, and actually grow (either professionally or personally) as
a result of the reading.

Set aside a block of time each day for reading. Each and every day.
Fifteen minutes or a half an hour is a good time to set aside for concentrated,
focused reading. When you do this, go to a place in your home with minimal
distractions - no television, few opportunities for interruption, and
so on.

Start a journal to go along with your reading. When you start doing
such focused reading, it’s well worth your while to start a journal
to go along with it. For the last five minutes of your reading session,
jot down your thoughts about what you just read, and do it every time.
Doing this forces you to organize your thoughts about what you read
and makes you go through those thoughts again.

Determine an area of your life that you’d like to improve. Perhaps
you’d like to learn more about a particular topic, or maybe you’d
prefer to simply improve upon a particular set of skills. Spend some
time considering what exactly you’d like to educate yourself on.
Perhaps, for example, you’d like to learn more about western philosophy
- in particular, you’re trying to determine for yourself what
the meaning of life is. That’s a good starting place.

Utilize the library - but do it carefully. It’s tempting to go
to the library and leave with an armload of books, but for most readers
who aren’t devoting hours to the written word each day, leaving
with armloads is often a mistake, as books are left unread and quite
often wind up being late returns. Instead, use the library to just find
one or two books in your area at a time. That way, you’re more
careful with your selection, you’re more likely to actually finish
what you check out, and you’re less likely to accrue fines.

Start with the popular “survey” books in that area. Don’t
jump in with an obscure book in the area you want to learn more about.
Instead, choose a more general book that covers your area of interest
broadly. Instead of diving straight into Kant or Nietzsche, choose something
like Bertrand Russell’s History of Western Philosophy. That way,
you can start off with a general background in your field of interest.

Choose challenging books - but not too challenging. An appropriate
book is one where you don’t already know all of the ideas before
you pick it up, but you’re not completely lost by the end of the
first or second chapter, either. You can usually figure this out by
reading through the first chapter or two right at the library or bookstore.
If it’s over your head, don’t be ashamed at choosing something
simpler - you might find that after reading a few other books, that
first hard book isn’t really so hard after all.

Don’t worry about the speed of your reading. Many readers write
to me, worried that they’re not reading fast enough. My advice
is usually that they’re not reading slow enough. Don’t worry
about how fast you’re reading. The point of reading is to understand
and absorb the ideas, and that’s a process that simply goes at
different speeds for different people. The key to reading is to make
sure that you’re picking up the ideas - speed will gradually come
with practice as your brain becomes attuned to the process of reading.

Couple your reading with extensive use of online resources, especially
Wikipedia. Whenever you hit upon something in a book that you don’t
understand, don’t keep rolling. Stop. Do some research into the
point that you don’t understand. Look up key terms and facts online
- Wikipedia is a great place for this. When I’m reading a suitably
challenging book, I might find myself stopping on every page to do this,
but when I do it, I can move forward in the book without trouble or
confusion.

Always try to extract the main point from what you’ve just read.
At the end of each reading session, make an effort to try to identify
what the main point of what you just read was. What did you learn from
it that’s actually valuable? What did the piece you just read
tell you about the broader subject in question? These are great things
to think about and journal about.

John Gray Personal Success is Getting What You Want;

MONEY, RECOGNITION, marriage, children, a great job, terrific clothes, winning a lottery, or any other form of outer success is like a magnifying glass that has turned on your inner feelings. If you are already peaceful, you will feel more peaceful. If you are already happy and loving; you will be happier and more loving. If you are already confident, you will be more confident.

On the other hand, to the degree that you are not happy, the joy, love confidence, or peace in your life will diminish. Without you first achieving personal success, the “having more” will just complicate your life and create more problems. If you are not happy first, getting rich will not make you any happier.

If you are already happy and you know that you are not dependent on more money to be happy, greater wealth can make you happier. There is nothing wrong with wanting more money. The quest for more money limits us only when we forget the real source of happiness within.

The secret of getting what you want and wanting what you have (John Gray) first to learn how to be happy, loving, confident and peaceful regardless of our conditioning. Then as you achieve more worldly success, you can become happier. By first learning to be happy with what you already have, material success will flow in an appropriate manner according to what you really want in life.
